Wash Care
Keep Dry. Avoid exposing your raffia bag to water or excessive moisture. If it does get wet, gently blot the excess moisture with a dry cloth and let it air dry in a cool, shaded area.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colours of raffia to fade. Store your bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Cleaning & Storage: Use a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush to remove dirt and dust and use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap to remove deeper stains, but be careful not to soak the raffia. After cleaning, let the bag air dry completely before storing it. When not in use, store your raffia bag in a dust bag or a pillowcase to protect it from dust and dirt. Avoid storing the bag in a humid environment, as this can cause mold or mildew to develop.
Maintain Shape: To help maintain the shape of the bag, stuff it with tissue paper or a soft cloth when not in use. Avoid overloading the bag, as excessive weight can cause the raffia to stretch or lose its shape.
Lifecycle
Your clothes have a long life cycle, so don’t throw them out once you are done wearing them!
Instead, try mending, upcycling, reusing for different purposes (like a house cleaning cloth), donating, sending it to a recycling facility, reselling, giving it to brands who make clothes out of waste fabrics or swap it with a friend.
A lot of love, resources, love and hard work goes into the making of each garment, so don’t stop loving them even if you can no longer wear them.
